I am lucky to work with a wide range of clients – from newspapers to bookmakers, sports organisations to link marketing companies. My career has evolved from the traditional NCTJ-qualified sport journalist beat – scribbling in shorthand and collecting quotes – to cater for multi-platform digital projects with clients across the world. A typical day for me can involve interviewing elite sport stars, transforming briefs into engaging content, editing thousands of words and liaising with managers on big-budget projects that push the boundaries of this incredible industry. It’s just as thrilling interviewing global sports stars and reporting at live events as it is seeing my clients happy. I love working with a diverse range of people and broadening my horizons every day.

These are just some of the clients I’m proud to work with:

F.C. Copenhagen

I’ve worked for F.C. Copenhagen as their English journalist and editor since studying in Denmark in 2010. My job pushes the FCK brand to a global audience, helping to force the club’s reputation outside of Denmark. It was my big break in journalism, has taught me about on-brand content creation, and is something I think all sporting institutions need if they want to expand their international recognition.

i newspaper

I work regular shifts as an online sport journalist for the i newspaper, where I write in-depth, unique and thought-provoking articles spanning the world of sport. Working as a sports journalist once again is refreshing and I’m deploying my SEO and editorial talents to reach even greater audiences. It’s what I love doing more than anything.

Unibet

Unibet were one of my first clients when I became a journalist in 2012. Over the years I’ve supplied content across the brand’s sportsbook, blog, marketing, SEO and external outreach, which has given me a unique insight into how outward-facing global digital platforms operate.

Gambling Group

When my editor at Unibet left to join Gambling Group in 2019 I was swiftly recruited as a journalist for the company. I write politics articles for gambling.com and football pieces for bookies.com. I love writing about politics and enjoy finding quirks in the market to better present big-hitting stories.

UEFA

I have worked for reputable brands all my career and in 2020 I began providing editorial services for UEFA.com’s core websites. I love European football, having worked for F.C. Copenhagen for a decade. My content for UEFA focuses on Champions League, Europa League and Nations League games.

Paddy Power

I began working with Paddy Power after spotting a major gap in their content. I now supply expert betting guides for the Paddy Power’s news website, utilising my SEO nous and copywriting capabilities to deliver unrivalled written content for a global audience.

Radio Times

I work closely with the Radio Times sport editor to produce high-end SEO-led previews and reviews, which have contributed to the site’s accelerated growth. I love to map out projects and deliver top quality results on deadline – and this offers a perfect work/life balance that suits me and the client.

CatenaMedia

Catena Media

Launching Short Story Ltd gave me the opportunity to work with more link-marketing companies, including global lead generation firm Catena Media. I provide my expert services to create high-end SEO articles focused on the betting industry that are targeted to defined demographics and audiences.
